Dan Albrigo
Daniel Albrigo was born in Pomona, Ca 1982.
Albrigo predominately works in the medium of painting, but also includes photography, drawing and various printing methods in his practice. Mostly self-taught, he explores classical and contemporary themes of realism, touching on American culture both appropriated and observed firsthand.
Albrigo has had solo shows in San Francisco at Guerrero Gallery and in New York City at Muddguts Gallery, as well as a split show in Chicago with Genesis Breyer P-Orridge at Western Exhibitions. The collaborative work he made with Genesis Breyer P-Orridge has been shown at UMOCA salt lake city, The Warhol Museum Pittsburgh and The Rubin Museum New York City.
